SD-WAN Gateway — CMG Series¶
The CMG series is deployed as the SD-WAN gateway (data center or headquarters side), forming the hub of a hub-and-spoke SD-WAN topology with branch mbox devices as spokes. It is available as a hardware appliance or as a virtual machine (NFV).

mfusion — SD-WAN Orchestrator¶
mfusion is the central management and orchestration platform for all RansNet mbox devices. It can be deployed as a cloud-hosted service or installed on-premise.
Key capabilities:
- Zero-touch provisioning — new devices auto-register and receive their configuration on first boot
- Centralized monitoring — real-time dashboard, topology map, wireless visibility, NetFlow analytics, and alert management
- Template-based configuration — define once, push to hundreds of devices or groups
- VPN orchestration — auto-provision hub-and-spoke or full-mesh VPN topologies
- Multi-tenant — role-based access with super-tenant dashboard for service providers and MSPs
- Firmware management — schedule and deploy firmware updates across the fleet
Log Management & Compliance¶
Dedicated appliances for centralized log collection, long-term retention, and compliance reporting across the entire network — deployed standalone or integrated with the mfusion orchestrator.
mlog Collector Series¶
The mlog Collector is a dedicated syslog collection and retention appliance. It receives logs from firewalls, routers, switches, and servers across the network over the standard syslog protocol, then indexes, searches, alerts on, and archives them for audit, compliance, and forensic investigation (Sarbanes-Oxley, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and similar).
Centralized logging is also available as a feature within mfusion and the HSG series. Because long-term log retention needs large, dedicated storage, mlog is offered as a standalone appliance for organizations that want to collect and archive syslog only — or to offload logging storage from the mfusion orchestrator. Either way, mlog remains cloud-manageable through mfusion.

IoT Products¶
RansNet is extending its portfolio into IoT with a growing range of edge devices that integrate directly with RansNet branch routers and the mfusion platform. Each device communicates over Wi-Fi (MQTT/TCP) to a RansNet edge router, which backhauls the data across SD-WAN — 4G/5G, broadband, or a private underlay — to mfusion for centralized monitoring, alarms, energy trends, remote control, and multi-tenant management. See IoT Integration for the collection architecture.
The Smart Energy Series is the first IoT family, focused on electrical metering, monitoring, and remote power control. Additional families (environmental, water, and more) will follow.
