Wireless LAN

The Configuration of WWAN (form of wireless) is only available for host types HSA / UA . The Wireless tab consist of three section for User to configure Wi-Fi Radio Settings, Wi-Fi SSID Settings and Global Wi-Fi SSID Settings.

Configure New Wireless Interface

User can access the Wireless Interface from the dropdown menu by clicking on the tab when editing the Branch devices (HSA/UA).

Wi-Fi Radio Settings Section

Step 1 – Settings of Radio Interface

  • User can now configure the below settings to enable the Wi-Fi Radio Settings.

The Radios field are explained below:

Wi-Fi SSID Settings Section

Step2 – Create SSID

  • To create new SSID , click on the  button as show below .

  • Configure the below settings and click on and  button to push the config to the CPE.

The fields of the New SSID List are explained below:

WPA2-PSK: authentication uses a pre-shared key on the security device to permit access to the SSID
WPA1/WPA2-PSK : authentication uses a pre-shared key on the security device to permit access to the SSID
WAP2-EAP-RADIUS : Radius authentication uses as proxy to permit access to the SSID
SSID ModeAP Mode: HSA/UA CPE broadcast SSID
STA Mode : HSA/UA CPE works a Wi-Fi station (Connects to a home/Office Wi-Fi SSID)
Optional SettingsBroadcast SSID: Broadcasting the SSID displays the name of your network in the list of available networks
VLAN/Network: A virtual LAN is any broadcast domain
Client Isolation : is a security feature that prevents wireless clients from communicating with one another

Global Wi-Fi SSID Settings

The global Wi-Fi settings displays the created Wi-Fi template.
