System

With System Menu, user can edit the system settings of a device, which are grouped under three menus: General, IP Host and Configs. Each of these menus consist of few sub-menus such as Hostname, Name Server, NTP Server, SNMP NMS Server and SNMP Trap Server. User can also compare and verify config changes before pushing the config to a device.

NOTE

The System menus and the sub-menus are the same in Gateway and Edge Devices.

General Menu

User can access the General Menu from the dropdown menu under the Gateway System tab tab.

General Settings

The General Settings consist of the five sections as shown in above Image 1. Each section can be expanded to edit by clicking on the button on the panel header.

IP Host Menu

User can access the IP Host from the dropdown menu under the Gateway System tab tab when edit the Gateway. User can click the Host in the ‘Host Name‘ column to edit it.

New IP Host

To create new IP host, click on the button as in Image 2.

Settings of IP Host

CONFIGS Menu

User can access the Configs from the dropdown menu under the Gateway System tab tab.

The ‘Configs interface‘ consists of two sections as listed below in Image 4. The collapsed sections are expandable to two section ‘Compare Config‘ & ‘Config Difference‘,

The ‘Compare Config‘ section can be used to compare the old config (Left Side) vs current config (Right side) and the ‘Config Difference‘ displays the New/Edited config.
