Host Menu Overview
User can click on Gateway / SD-Branch device’s Host menu to execute various task like Navigating to Host Dashboard, Provisioning Host’s, Running ping test, Checking traceroute path, Running Throughput test, accessing hotspot Web interface of the Host (HSG only), Command line configuration, Synchronization the configuration of mfusion to Hosts, Upgrading firmware and Rebooting Hosts.
Below are the Host menu of Gateway and SD-Branch devices,

The fields of Gateway / SD-Branch Host menu are summarized below:

01 | Host Dashboard | Dashboard menu opens up the Gateway/SD-Branch’s device own dashboard with system/network utilization, Alerts, triggers etc. |
02 | Ping Test | Ping Test menu can be used for quality measurements of the Internet/network connection. |
03 | Traceroute | Traceroute menu computer network diagnostic commands for displaying possible routes (paths) |
04 | Throughput Test | Throughput Test menu is for testing the performance of a wireless or wired network |
05 | Provisioning | Provisioning menu allows user to edit the provisioned Host |
06 | Web-Management | Web-Management menu allows to login to the Hotspot Gateway GUI |
07 | Running Config | This menu open the existing command line code of the Host |
08 | Resync Config | Resync Config menu overwrites the mfusion GUI config to Host |
09 | Upgrade Firmware | This menu allows to upgrade the Host firmware |
10 | Reboot | This menu allows to reboot the host |

Functions of Host Menu
Prerequisite
- User can provision the Host device. Refer to link Devices Provisioning
- User can add the Host device to Orchestration’s Gateway/SD-Branch. Refer to link New Gateway / SD-Branch
Host Dashboard Menu
Use can click on Host Menu and click on ‘Host Dashboard‘ sub-menu, where it opens up a new tab which displays the Summary, Items, Triggers, Graphs and Alerts tabs of the Host.

Ping Test Menu
User can click on the Host Menu and click on Ping Test sub-menu to perform the quality measurement of the network/Internet connection.

Traceroute Menu
User can click on the Host Menu and click on Traceroute sub-menu to perform network diagnostic commands for displaying possible routes (paths)

Provisioning Menu
User can click on the Host Menu and click on Provisioning sub-menu to edit / re-provision Host. User needs to follow the add Host prerequisite. Refer to Add Host table Link.

Changing Browser Settings
Chrome Browser
- On your computer, open Chrome
browser.
- At the top right, click More
Settings.
- Click Privacy and security
Site Settings.
- Click Pop-ups and redirects.
- Under ‘Customised behaviours > Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects‘
- Click on ‘Add’ button
- Type: [*.]ransnet.com
Mozilla Firefox
- On your computer, open Mozilla Firefox
browser.
- At the top right, click Menu
Settings.
- Click Privacy and security
Permissions > Block pop-up windows.
- Click Exceptions… button
- Type: ” http://ransnet.com “
User can click on the Host Menu and click on Web Management sub-menu to access the management GUI of the Hotspot Gateway device without using any remote desktop application.

Running Config Menu
User can click on the Host Menu and click on Running Config sub-menu to view the command line code of the Host using GUI. The configured Host using the Orchestrator GUI is visible in the form of command line code which is fetched from the Host real-time.
