Apply Config Templates

Firewall Template

Firewall Template creates a firewall policy that can be shared within the hosts of an entity. Firewall Policy is applicable for all the hosts (HSG / CMG / HSA / UA / XE) . Users can apply the policy via the edit host in  the Gateway or Branches Configuration.

Procedure - Create Firewall Template using mfusion

  1. User can navigate to ‘ORCHESTRATOR > Configuration > Templates‘ and click on Firewall Templates tab
  1. To configure new template, user can click on button as shown below.

  1. Enter the Firewall Template name and click on button to create the template. The Firewall Template configuration page opens as show below.

Procedure - Link Template to Hosts using mfusion

After the firewall template configuration is configured and saved, the page moves back to ‘EDIT FIREWALL TEMPLATE‘ page

  1. Click on ‘Linked Hosts‘ tab and click on button to link Hosts

  1. Select the Host checkbox to map the created firewall template, click on the and button to save the configuration to Host.

Wireless Template

Wireless Template creates a wireless policy that can be shared within hosts of an entity. Wireless Policy is Only applicable for (HSA/UA) hosts. Users can apply the policy via the edit host in  the Gateway or Branches Configuration.

Procedure - Create Wireless Template using mfusion

  1. User can navigate to ‘ORCHESTRATOR > Configuration > Templates‘ and click on Wireless Templates tab
  2. To configure new template, user can click on button as shown below

  1. Enter the Wi-Fi Template name and click on button to create the template. The WiFi Template configuration page opens as show below. To configure Wi-Fi settings, Refer to Wireless LAN link.

  1. After the Wi-Fi configuration is configured and saved, the page moves back to ‘EDIT WIRELESS TEMPLATE‘ page. In this page user can link the configured wireless template to the host.

Procedure - Link Template to Hosts using mfusion

  1. User can navigate to ‘Linked Hosts’ tab to link the configured template to required Host by selecting the ‘Host Name’
  2. Click on button to view the Hosts from the respective entity.
  3. Select the single or multiple Host to apply the created template
  4. Click on and button.

Hotspot Template

Hotspot Template creates a hotspot policy that can be shared within hosts of an entity. Hotspot policy are applicable for (HSA/UA/HSG) hosts . Users can apply the policy via the edit host in  the Gateway or Branches Configuration.

Procedure - Create Hotspot Template using mfusion

  1. User can navigate to ‘ORCHESTRATOR > Configuration > Templates‘ and click on Hotspot Templates tab
  2. To configure new template, user can click on button as shown below

  1. Enter the Hotspot Template name and click on button to create the template. The Hotspot Template configuration page opens as show below.

To configure the Hotspot Instance, Refer to Hotspot Instances link.

Procedure - Link Template to Hosts using mfusion

After the Hotspot Instances configuration is configured and saved, the page moves back to ‘LIST HOTSPOT TEMPLATE‘ page

  1. From the ‘Linked Hosts‘ section, Click on the button. The ‘Available Hosts‘ page opens up.
  2. Click on button to view the Hosts from the respective entity.
  3. Select the host/s to map the created Hotspot Template, click on button.
  4. Apply the configuration to device by clicking the button.
